Seborrheic keratosis is a rather common skin condition in Caucasian. People having darker skin color rarely end up with this skin condition. This does not include those who are African Americans. There is also no specific sex among the Caucasians that is not affected by this skin condition. Seborrheic keratosis does not however have any negative impact on your health. So, you can decide to leave the thing on the skin without bothering about getting rid of it.    But for cosmetics reasons, you may want to get rid of it to gain your fresh skin back.

There are so many medical related methods to get rid of seborrheic keratosis on your skin. You will however have to pay before any of the methods can be implemented on you. Removing the skin condition can also be expensive. In case you are a ‘do it yourself’ kind of person and you would rather prefer to get the thing removed at home instead of getting it done at the hospital, there are also several home made methods that can be very helpful against seborrheic keratosis. Some of them will be looked into in this write up.

Buy liquid nitrogen

In case you do not have the money for laser removal of your seborrheic keratosis at the hospital, you can always rely on liquid nitrogen to help you out with the skin condition. Liquid nitrogen can be gotten over the counter and you can always apply it to the skin condition to get it off your skin. This method involves placing the liquid nitrogen directly on the skin condition. Liquid nitrogen has a way of freezing the seborrheic keratosis. Once it is frozen, it is just a matter of time before the skin condition can get off from your skin.  You need to also realize that this method can leave some scars on your skin. But the scars can be removed with the aid of lightening creams.

Try glycolic acid solution

Glycolic acid too can be considerably helpful in the removal of this skin condition from your skin. Using this method is also very helpful against the skin condition. You need to directly apply the well diluted glycolic acid directly on the skin condition and this will get the skin condition removed from your skin in a matter of time.  After some days of consistent application you will get positive result. But the concentration of the glycolic acid must not be more than about 35%.
